Mickey was poured live on TikTok using black and metallic onyx pigments.
He was then cured in our temperature-controlled oven for three days, ensuring he dried perfectly while preventing any dust particles from settling on the surface.
The next stage was adding the mica details, a slow and careful process. His eyes were hand-painted using crystal white mica, while opal flakes were added throughout the black areas to create character, depth and movement.
Mickey's shorts feature three layers of red mica, with each layer sealed using a gloss varnish before the next was applied. The gold buttons were then hand-painted, adding a charming finishing touch.
His boxing gloves were created using gold mica with bronze mica highlights. Three layers were applied in total, with each layer polished and sealed with gloss varnish between coats.
The boots were finished in yellow mica, also receiving three coats, with gloss varnish applied between each layer for added depth and durability.
To complete Mickey, I applied two coats of resin, with the second coat poured six hours after the first. The final result has a beautiful old-world charm, rich depth and a stunning high-gloss finish.
